Seccion Amarilla USA, the Telecom/Yellow Page utility company of Mexico, has launched its operations in the United States (as published by The Wall Street Journal, Oct. 24, 2006).

Due to the acquisition of Enlace Spanish Yellow Pages in the U.S. by Seccion Amarilla, we have now more than tripled our growth. Due to this tremendous growth, we are currently expanding our sales teams and we are looking for Account Executives who thrive in a fast-paced outside sales environment.  TALENT FOR SPEAKING SPANISH IS NOT A REQUIREMENT.

Seccion Amarilla is the largest Hispanic directory publisher. We have more than one hundred years of directory publishing experience. We have directories in Argentina, Peru, Mexico and the United States with a production of 169 directories and distribution of 23 million books per year.  As a valuable community resource, our mission is to build bridges between the local Hispanic Communities and the people and businesses wanting to reach them.  

Seccion Amarilla is seeking highly motivated and results oriented top performing outside sales Account Executives to join our team.  As a Seccion Amarilla Account Executive you will be responsible of prospecting potential customers within the assigned market while promoting the product on an ongoing basis.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:·         Strategically plan objectives for every customer within the assigned market.·         Sell our marketing and advertising programs to local businesses·         Maintain weekly appointments and activity reports·         Review, manage, and grow existing account base while building successful long term client relationships. ·         Achieve assigned sales quotas and goals.·         Meeting publication and online deadlines. ·         Attend local events to promote business initiatives such as Chamber of Commerce events, Hispanic Heritage Fairs, Trade Shows, etc.·         Involvement in all business required training events such as seminars and sales enhancement courses.

We offer an above industry standard comprehensive compensation package that includes: Base Salary plus paid up front commissions, expense allowance, bonuses, full health benefits, 401K and paid vacation/sick/holiday. All training is paid and done locally.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•         Two years of successful outside sales experience preferred

•         Prior outside sales and yellow page experience a plus

·          Highly motivated sales professional

•         Hard working and dedicated to excellence

•         Strong organizational skills as well as persuasive oral and written communications skills

•         Financially motivated, self-starter who possess a positive attitude and a desire to be part of a performance driven environment

•         Creative; Sales Skills; Persuasive

•         Strong problem-solving skills

•         Talent for speaking Spanish is not a requirement

•         Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
